It's all fine so long as you don't carry it with you. Have your say. And then, as they say, get over it.
At the end of the day, everone is entitled to their opinions - even if you don't agree with them. Some just have the reigns, that's all.
I am over it. But I won't call it a day just yet.
If you have an opinion, you have a right to express it. Just as the moderator has a right to remove or amend your opinion. If, at the end of the day, you are right, then you will at least reached out to others who may see it from your point of view. What is to be gained from running away from a good scrap?
And, ultimately, at the end of the day, what does any of this really matter. If someone can find something good from what you tried to say, isn't that all that matters?
Have fun. Don't get yourself sent to the "sin bin". Have your say, but be sure in what you have to say. The last thing you want is to be going back on your words. In my humble opinion - humble pie doesn't taste all that good. (the origin of "humble pie" is that it was made with all the scraps that no one would eat so the poor would have some nourishment at least - yuck). I never thought I would see the day that Amanda wouldn't pull a posting because it would show her in a bad light. And what she said about me - that doesn't phase me in the slightest. There is strength in being right. On the whole, I would say she does a terrific job. And I will acknowledge that moderators anywhere don't get an easy ride simply because everyone believes their thoughts are the correct ones.
Hang in there darling. It realy is mostly good.
PS/ I never thought there would be a conversation like this here. And this started as a one line reply LOL.
