Late Night Café in Northbridge, popular with students and night owls. Serves full meals, snacks, pizzas, pasta, great coffee and more. Warm atmosphere and trans* friendly. Music of all types and from all eras, usually quiet enough to chat. Live music in the evenings of Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, with one of the premier live jazz nights in Perth on Thursdays. Recommended by many. April 15, 2010.
A sports bar, relaxing lounge bar, beautiful outdoor area and bistro. Quality pub-style food, wood fired pizza, and a wide range of local and imported beers on tap, all at very good prices. Very accommodating, trans* friendly and a great atmosphere. See the website for special entertainment evenings. Recommended by Rosalind, Claire and Connie. April 20, 2010.
Bustling and vibrant pub-like venue serving quality fresh cuisine in good portions. Premium wines and a good selection of drinks. Has a lush terraced beer garden and comfortable lounge area where you can talk easily. A little pricey, but a nice and warm atmosphere. Trans* welcoming. Authentic Thai food at a very good price. The portions are above average size, the food is well cooked and delicious, and the staff are very friendly, polite and trans* welcoming. Licensed & BYO. Close to The Chameleons meeting hall and often frequented by Chameleon members on meeting nights. Recommended by Rosalind and Claire. April 21, 2010.
A combination of a restaurant serving Asian fare and a casual pub culture. The venue is quite unique and decorated with authentic statues, pictures, antiquities and carvings from all over the orient. There is a small dance floor, a courtyard, a terrace, and a sunken bar as well as the main bar area. Open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch & dinner, and DJs generally play great music until 2am. Frequented by a young crowd, but generally trans* friendly. Recommended by Rosalind. April 22, 2010. |
